My friend and me decided to make a heliport which, during the night turns the lights on and during the day turns the lights off.
I think the project was good, simple but well done. The teacher decided to give us a 10.
There you have a photo, a video of the project and the summary:
-SUMMARY-(LDR PROJECT)-
-Objective:
The objective is to make a
circuit using an LDR and a relay, by which a motor, led… etc. that works during
day and does not during night.
-How does it work?
The LDR allows electricity
to pass when there is light; it activates the “Par Darlington” and excites the
relay so that the LEDs get off.
-Materials:
We have used LEDs, an LDR,
a relay, a 5v power supply, a 10K potentiometer, two transistors, a resistance,
wires, a tupper and wood.
-Building process:
1st we made the
circuit on a plate of wood and checked it.
2nd we painted
the tupper and the “H” on the wood.
3rd we have
built the project assembling the parts.
We have enjoyed this
project because is the first time we make a project using an LDR and
transistors and a relay and we have liked it because it is like an “automatic”
project.
